On July 23, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with Asst. Prof. Nidarin Chulawan, Deputy Dean, attended the 2nd/2025 meeting of the Council of Deans of Faculty of Education/Educational Studies of Thailand (C.E.S.T.) at the Phra Phrom Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Aswin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. Privy Councilor General Dapong Ratanasuwan chaired the meeting. Asst. Prof. Dr. Amolwan Weerathammmo, Secretary-General of the Teachers Council of Thailand, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Phonrapee Thummaphan gave a special lecture on “Criteria for Accreditation in Accordance with the Teachers Council Announcement on the Accreditation of Educational Degrees and Certificates.” According to the Professional Standards for Professional Practice 2024" and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Prawit Erawan, Secretary-General of the Education Council, gave a special lecture on "Education 2040 and the State of Thai Education" with Asst. Prof. Dr. Orapan Tuchinda, Chairwoman of the Council of Deans of Faculty of Education/Education Sciences of Thailand, Asst. Prof. Dr. Duangjai Chanasit, Advisor to the Council of Deans, and deans of faculties of education/education sciences nationwide attending the meeting.

On July 22, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with Asst. Prof. Nidarin Chulawan, Deputy Dean, attended the 2nd/2025 meeting of the Council of Deans of Faculty of Education/Rajabhat Universities (C.E.E.) at the Phra Mae Thorani Meeting Room 4-5, 9th Floor, Aswin Grand Convention Hotel, Bangkok. The meeting was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Wiwat Petchsri, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University, and Vice Chairman of the Council of Deans. Deans of all 38 Rajabhat Universities attended the meeting. The meeting aimed to exchange ideas and approaches for improving educational quality and fostering collaboration among faculties of education at Rajabhat Universities nationwide to sustainably raise the national teacher production standards.

Internal Quality Assessment Project for the Curriculum Level for the Academic Year 2024 according to AUN-QA criteria for the Bachelor of Education Program in Mathematics

On July 23, 2025, the Faculty of Education organized an internal curriculum quality assessment project for the academic year 2024 according to AUN-QA criteria for the Bachelor of Education Program in Mathematics at the Vanda Meeting Room 68-305, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. This assessment aimed to reflect the results of educational management and develop quality according to the standards set by the university. The committee consisted of Asst. Prof. Dr. Manop Chachiyo (Chairman), Assistant Professor Dr. Monthana Pipatphen (Committee Member), Asst. Prof. Dr. Sirithorn Thawornwongsa (Secretary), Asst. Prof. Wimonwan Meeboon (Assistant Secretary), and Asst. Prof. Dr. Fudailah Duman (Observer). The assessment proceeded smoothly with the goal of developing the curriculum to be of quality and ready for international standards

Internal Quality Assessment Project at the Curriculum Level for the Academic Year 2024 according to AUN-QA criteria for the Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood Education

On July 23, 2025, the Faculty of Education organized an internal curriculum quality assessment project for the 2024 academic year based on AUN-QA criteria for the Bachelor of Education Program in Early Childhood Education. The assessment took place at the Pairoj Duangwiset Conference Room, 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The objective was to reflect on educational management results and develop quality in accordance with the university s standards. The committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Aree Saripa (Chairman), Ms. Chulalak Sutra (Committee Member), Ms. Phet Rongphon (Secretary), Assistant Professor Rungrangsima Satyachai (Assistant Secretary), and Ms. Pranee Lampensa (Observer). The assessment proceeded smoothly with the goal of developing a quality curriculum ready to meet international standards.

Training workshop project on “Using technology in teaching management for student mathematics teachers”

On July 19–20, 2025, the Bachelor of Education Program in Mathematics, Faculty of Education, organized a workshop on “Using Technology in Learning Management for Mathematics Student Teachers.” The workshop was held in Computer Laboratory 202 and Meeting Room 1 on the 4th floor of the Language Center Building. A total of 120 mathematics students attended. The workshop was honored by speakers specializing in mathematics teaching and educational technology, including Ms. Siriwan Chanakul from the Institute for the Promotion of Teaching Science and Technology (IPST); Mr. Chamroen Anantathammaros from Triam Udom Suksa School; Ms. Angkana Jindakul from Chana Chanupatham School; Ms. Phattharadee Siaemmai from Chana Technical College; Ms. Aphasiri Daengkaew from Ban Khuan Niang School; and Ms. Benjama Chuchai from Nathawee Witthayakhom School. During the two-day workshop, students gained in-depth learning and hands-on experience on topics such as the use of software for teaching mathematics, designing technology-enabled learning activities, and creating digital media to enhance subject matter understanding. The workshop was intensive and creative. Students showed full interest and participation, which is another activity that helps prepare them to be modern mathematics teachers who can effectively use technology to develop student learning.

Faculty Meeting No. 2/2025

On July 17, 2025, the Faculty of Education held its 2/2025 faculty meeting at the Pairoj Duangwiset Conference Room (68-302). Assistant Professor Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the meeting. The meeting was attended by administrators, faculty, and support staff to acknowledge policies and guidelines for academic operations, management, and educational quality development. The meeting also included an exchange of ideas to jointly drive the Faculty of Education toward excellence in teacher production and development in the future.

Post-teaching seminar in educational institutions for students with code 66

On July 17, 2025, the Research and Professional Experience Division organized a seminar after teaching practice in educational institutions for students with code 66 at the Nirat Charoenjit Conference Room (68-307). Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony and was led by Mr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Research and Professional Experience. In addition, there was a presentation of teaching practice results from student representatives from all fields of study to exchange knowledge and reflect on teaching practice experiences in educational institutions.

Activities on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University

On Wednesday, July 9, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, participated in activities celebrating the 68th anniversary of the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University, at the Poonsap Noppawong Na Ayutthaya Room, Chalermratchasuda Building, Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University. On this occasion, Assistant Professor Dr. Sopon received the 2025 Honorary Alumni Award in the category of contributions to education, society, or the nation. This award honors alumni who have made significant contributions to the continuous development of education and society and serve as role models for Thai teachers and educators. The award presentation was held as part of the Faculty of Education, Chulalongkorn University s 68th anniversary celebrations in 2025. Various activities were organized to commemorate the Faculty of Education s history and significance as a leading teacher training institution in the country.

Training project on building the spirit of teaching and ensuring educational quality (Orientation)

On July 6, 2025, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University (SRU) organized the "Teacher Spirit Building and Educational Quality Assurance Workshop (Orientation)" at the Nirat Charoenjit Conference Room. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony. The workshop aimed to prepare and instill teaching ideology in new students. Experienced lecturers included Mr. Kraiphop Chuachun, a teacher at Wichian Chom School, and Mr. Nattawat Sae Jiw, a teacher at Ban Nam Krachai School, who delivered inspiring lectures. The event also included mentor meeting activities and student-relations activities to foster familiarity, unity, and foster strong relationships among faculty, alumni, and juniors.

"Seminar during teaching practice in educational institutions 4" project for students with code 65

On July 4, 2025, the Faculty of Education organized the "Institutional Teaching Seminar 4" for students with ID number 65 at the Nirat Charoenjit Conference Room. The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Research and Professional Experience. The event included a special lecture on "Research Results Create Innovations for Student Learning Benefits and Research Article Writing" by Asst. Prof. Dr. Preeda Benkarn, and an activity on "Promoting Health and Preventing Risky Behaviors" by Mr. Thapanawat Sukpala. Finally, there was a forum for students to reflect on their professional experience. Representatives from each discipline presented their work, exchanged knowledge, and received suggestions from program faculty. These activities will lead to their self-development as professional teachers in the future.

Supervision and monitoring activities for the project to improve the quality of education in small schools

On July 3, 2025, the Small School Quality Improvement Project conducted a monitoring and follow-up activity via the ZOOM Cloud Meeting online conference system. The primary objective was to monitor and promote the quality of teaching and learning in small schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission (OBEC) and participating education fund schools, meeting the needs of each school. Additionally, the activity aimed to develop and promote knowledge, understanding, and skills in modern teaching science for in-service teachers and alumni, enabling them to apply them effectively in the classroom. The event was honored by Assistant Professor Nisarat Boonmee and Assistant Professor Rungrangsima Satyachai as key speakers, providing advice and exchanging knowledge with project participants.
