On March 27, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, participated in the Kick Off project “The Power of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, the Power of Songkhla People: Happiness for People with Disabilities Begins at Home” at the Sirinapha Meeting Room, M Floor, Hansa JB Hotel, Mueang District, Songkhla Province. Organized by the Songkhla Provincial Office of Social Development and Human Security, the event aimed to promote access to and utilization of public facilities, welfare, and government assistance for people with disabilities, in accordance with Section 20 of the Act on the Promotion and Development of the Quality of Life of People with Disabilities B.E. 2550 (2007) and its amendments (No. 2) B.E. 2556 (2013). The initiative focuses on adapting living environments to be suitable and safe for people with disabilities, as well as integrating cooperation with relevant agencies to drive the development of the quality of life for people with disabilities in Songkhla Province in a concrete and sustainable manner.

During the meeting, an election was held for the President of the Council of Deans of Faculties of Education/Educational Sciences of Thailand. Assistant Professor Dr. Orraphan Toojinda was elected as President for a second consecutive term, reflecting her potential and confidence in driving educational work at the national level.

This independent research examination is part of the process of developing the potential of graduate students to apply knowledge in educational administration in research and development of school management.
