On February 13-15, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, participated in the training course on developing the potential of personnel involved in education management for the disabled in higher education (course for executives) at the Office of the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation and Kantary Hotel, Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima Province. There was a discussion, exchange of knowledge, and a study visit on providing support services for disabled students at the Disabled Student Support Service Unit, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University. The training content was on laws and regulations related to disabled students, reasonable assistance and facilitation (Reasonable Accommodations), the role of executives in education management for disabled students, and an exchange of knowledge on the challenges they are currently facing. The lecturer was kindly provided by a qualified person who is a curriculum designer, an expert, and the head of the Disabled Student Service Center, Nakhon Ratchasima Rajabhat University.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony of the project to improve the quality of education in small schools, training workshop activities on the topic of developing skills (EF) integrated with early childhood activities, on 8-9 February 2025 at the Pairoj Duangwises Meeting Room 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, with Asst. Prof. Nisarat Boonmee, Asst. Prof. Naiyana Yeema, and Asst. Prof. Rungrangsima Satyachai, lecturers from the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, as speakers on this occasion.
On February 9, 2025, Asst. Prof. Ibrahim Yisunsong, Deputy Dean for Student Development and Special Affairs, Faculty of Education, chaired the 11th Orchid Games Preparation Meeting for Teachers at the Nirat Charoenjit Meeting Room, 68-307, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, and via Zoom cloud meetin, with student club committees from various universities participating in the meeting.
On February 2, 2025, faculty members of the Bachelor of Education program in various fields were members of the interview committee for undergraduate students, Portfolio 1/2 and Portfolio B.Ed. at the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Many students are interested in applying to study in various fields.
On January 28, 2025, Asst. Prof. Nidarin Chulawan, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Academic Services, Dr. Ekapol Pairoj, Assistant Dean for Academic Services and International Relations, and Ms. Jirarat Meeboon, responsible for academic services, attended the meeting to discuss formats/methods and jointly implement the educational quality development project: Joint reading promotion activities via the Zoom cloud meeting system, organized by the Office of the Lower Southern Higher Education Network (main network).
On January 27, 2025, Asst. Prof. Ibrahim Yisunsong, Deputy Dean for Student Development and Special Affairs, led a team of support personnel for student development on a study visit and exchange work on student activities, Faculty of Education, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University. On January 25, 2025, the Bachelor of Education Program in Social Studies organized a training workshop and citizen leadership camp project for social studies teachers at the Pairoj Duangwises Meeting Room 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The event was honored by Asst. Prof. Dr. Thakorn Sittichok and Asst. Prof. Dr. Atsasiri Lapee, lecturers from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Thaksin University, as speakers.
On January 25-26, 2025, the Bachelor of Education Program in Thai Language organized a workshop project: Development of Thai Language Teacher Competency in the 21st Century at Room 68-303, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. We were honored to have Mr. Sombun Chulasurang, an academic in the Student Activities Mission Group, Thaksin University, and Mr. Payom Thipyamani as speakers in the activity of First Aid and Life Support, and Ms. Narisa Meemongkol, a teacher at Songkhla Kindergarten School, as a speaker in the activity of Teaching Primary School Students.
On January 24, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, chaired the 1/2025 Faculty of Education Executive Committee meeting at Meeting Room 68-606, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, with Deputy Deans, Assistant Deans, Program Chairs, Office Heads, and Supervisors attending the meeting.
On January 20, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, welcomed the committee for the curriculum critique of the Master of Education Program in Educational Service at Meeting Room 68-305, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. We were honored to have Associate Professor Dr. Ekkarin Sangthong, Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus, Dr. Paliwan Sitthikarn, Bo Pradu Community School, Songkhla Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, and Dr. Kritsada Sasithanadul, Songkhla-Satun Secondary Educational Service Area Office, as the curriculum critique committee members for this time.
On January 18, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, gave an opening speech for the project on educational development and local development with Songkhla Rajabhat University as a mentor: Competency-based science teaching: BCG Model to the science classroom for fiscal year 2024, competition activities and presentation of results of activities organized with students: BCG Model and science teaching at Room 68-303, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, with students from various schools presenting the work they had created.
On January 18-19, 2025, the Bachelor of Education Program in Thai Language organized a workshop on the development of Thai language teacher competence in the 21st century at the Pairoj Duangwiset Conference Room 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. We were honored to have Asst. Prof. Charoonsak Boonyapitak, a lecturer in the Thai Language Program, Faculty of Education and Liberal Arts, Hatyai University, and Dr. Kamontip Sangkua, a lecturer in the Bachelor of Education Program in Thai Language, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, as speakers for this event.
On January 16, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, gave an opening speech for the project to commemorate the grace of teachers of education at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Student Affairs Building, Songkhla Rajabhat University. There was a lecture activity by Asst. Prof. Dr. Montree Den Duang, former Dean of the Faculty of Education, for 1st-3rd year students and awards were given to academic personnel, support personnel, and students who brought fame to the Faculty of Education.
On January 14, 2025, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sopon Chaiwattanakulwanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, gave an opening speech for the Songkhla Rajabhat Academic Project under the name SKRU Go PRO EDU, a step towards professional learning at the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. In addition, there was a workshop on AI and teaching management for teachers from various interested schools, and an exhibition of 9 undergraduate programs.
