On March 7, 2026, Songkhla Rajabhat University organized the “Futsal Cup Competition: Fostering Relationships and Unity” at the multi-purpose gymnasium of Songkhla Rajabhat University. Assistant Professor Dr. Kantapon Mahamad, Vice President of Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony. The objectives of the competition were to encourage students to exercise and play sports for their health, to develop teamwork skills through sports competition, and to build good relationships between students from the Songkhla Rajabhat University Demonstration School and network schools. The competition was divided into two age groups: Under 10 years old (4 teams) and Under 12 years old (4 teams). Besides being a platform to showcase athletic abilities, it was also an activity that helped build unity and good relationships among students from different schools.
On March 7-8, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized a workshop on “Developing Teaching Materials for Early Childhood Teachers” at the Pairoj Duangwiset Meeting Room, Room 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Assistant Professor Nidarin Julawan, Deputy Dean for Research and Academic Services, presided over the opening ceremony. The target group was teachers from small schools and religious schools in Songkhla, Phatthalung, and Satun provinces. Distinguished faculty members from the Faculty of Education, including Assistant Professor Nisarat Boonmee, Assistant Professor Naiyana Yimma, and Assistant Professor Paksananut Hoisakul, served as speakers, sharing their knowledge and experience on designing and developing teaching materials for early childhood education. On February 28, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop on “Preparing and Developing Essential Skills for Future Careers for Education Students (Graduation Ceremony)” at the Nirat Chorjit Meeting Room (68-307), Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Mr. Jakarin Kaewratana, Mr. Suphakin Onchan, and Lecturer Sakarn Rodklai were invited as guest speakers to share their experiences and knowledge to enhance the understanding and essential skills necessary for final-year education students careers as teachers. In the evening of the same day, a graduation ceremony for fourth-year students and a ceremony to honor teachers were held at the General Meeting Room, 3rd floor, Student Affairs Center Building, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The atmosphere was warm and touching, with students expressing their gratitude and thanks to the faculty members who imparted knowledge to them before embarking on their journey to become quality teacher graduates in the future.
On February 28, 2026, Songkhla Rajabhat University conducted interview examinations for new student selection through the portfolio round. The interviews were conducted in collaboration with faculty members from the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, representing all nine educational programs. The atmosphere was lively, with a large number of students from various educational institutions showing interest in participating. On February 26, 2026, the Bachelor of Education program in Physical Education, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized a workshop entitled “Stepping Towards Becoming a Physical Education Teacher in the Digital Age” for third and fourth-year physical education students. On February 5, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized a project to preserve local wisdom and a chili paste making competition at the activity area on the mezzanine floor of Building 68, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Assistant Professor Ibrahim Yisuwansong, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the opening ceremony. The project included a lecture on the topic “Craft & Cool: Having Fun with Indigo Fabric through Tie-Dyeing” by Assistant Professor Natchana Nualyong, a lecturer from the Faculty of Architecture, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, who shared knowledge on handicrafts and the contemporary application of local wisdom. In addition, there were various activities to learn about local wisdom, such as an exhibition of 9 types of Thai desserts, a “Craft & Cool” indigo tie-dyeing activity, and pottery art activities, providing students with opportunities to learn through hands-on experience.
