The program promotes student learning experiences and cultural exchange in Malaysia.

From December 26–30, 2025, the Faculty of Education organized a student outreach program focusing on international culture and experiences in Malaysia. The objective was to provide students with an understanding of foreign cultures, enhance their life skills in a global context, and improve their foreign language and communication skills. Fourteen selected students participated in the program, engaging in hands-on learning experiences in Malaysian culture, management, and life abroad through fieldwork and interaction with the local community and environment. This program was a significant opportunity to develop students potential, equipping them with academic, life, and communication skills at an international level—fundamental requirements for becoming high-quality teachers capable of adapting effectively to a multicultural society.

The "Paying Homage to Teachers of the Faculty of Education" project, in celebration of Teachers Day 2026.

On January 16, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized the project “Paying Homage to the Teachers of Education” in commemoration of Teachers Day 2026 at the 80th Anniversary Commemoration Auditorium, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The event aimed to express gratitude to teachers and to reinforce morality, ethics, and professional conduct among faculty, staff, and students. Associate Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, gave the opening speech. Associate Professor Dr. Pairoj Duangwiset gave a speech to the attendees. A special lecture on the topic “Ethics in Professional Learning Community (E-PLC)” was given by Dr. Montri Denduang. Associate Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich also read the Prime Minister s Teachers Day message. The recitation of a poem in remembrance of the teachers virtues by Assistant Professor Nidarin Chulawan created an atmosphere of appreciation and pride in the teaching profession.

Project to promote cooperation and exchange of knowledge in pedagogy at Can Tho University, Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

From January 9-15, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized a collaborative learning exchange program in education at Can Tho University, Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The delegation was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with supervising faculty members: Dr. Ekaphon Pairoj (Assistant Dean), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jongkol Buakaew, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Narong Kanchana, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Panatchakorn Phitthiyakul. Eighteen students from the Faculty of Education, who were selected to participate in the program, were warmly welcomed by the School of Education, Can Tho University, led by Assoc. Prof. Huynh Anh Huy, Dean, along with Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Minh, Prof. Lam Quoc Anh, and Dr. Le Van Nhuong, Vice Deans. The delegation engaged in an exchange of ideas and experiences regarding teacher education management.

Workshop on "Developing Multicultural Teaching Skills through Creative Social Media"

From December 22-23, 2025, the Faculty of Education conducted a project to improve the quality of education in small schools/island schools/religious schools. This was accomplished through a workshop on “Developing Multicultural Teaching Skills through Creative Social Media” at Ban Koh Lipe School, Koh Sarai Subdistrict, Mueang Satun District, Satun Province. Assistant Professor Nidarin Julawan and Lecturer Chanjira Wongprapairoj served as speakers, sharing their knowledge and experience. The objective was to enhance and develop teaching skills through creative media for teachers and educational personnel, as well as to improve their understanding of multicultural learning approaches relevant to the local context. This activity also provided an opportunity for third-year Bachelor of Education students in Thai Language to participate, enriching their learning and practical experience. This will be beneficial in developing their potential as professional teachers in the future and contributing to the sustainable improvement of educational quality in multicultural areas.

Orientation and preparation program for students entering the Graduate Diploma Program in Teacher Professionalism.

On January 10, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized an orientation and preparation program for students enrolled in the Graduate Diploma Program in Teacher Professionalism. The event was held in the Nirat Chorjit Meeting Room (68-307), 3rd floor, Building 68, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Associate Professor Dr. Veerachai Saengchai, Vice President of Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony. Distinguished experts and faculty members served as guest speakers, providing knowledge and guidance on the studies. These included Dr. Shariff Sueni, Provincial Education Officer of Narathiwat; Asst. Prof. Dr. Rujiraphan Kongchuey; Dr. Veerapan Charoenlikitkavin; Dr. Kulapat Yingdamnoon; Dr. Maneenuch Rongpol; Dr. Atth Chatthayawarakul; and Asst. Prof. Dr. Chutima Chantharajit. They shared their knowledge, experience, and valuable advice with the students.

Workshop on "Volunteer Teachers Producing Educational Materials for Schools"

On January 11, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized a workshop on "Volunteer Teachers Producing Teaching Materials for Schools" at the Pairoj Duangwiset Meeting Room, Room 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. Assistant Professor Nisarat Boonmee served as the lecturer, sharing her knowledge and experience with the participants. First and second-year students from the Faculty of Education participated enthusiastically. The objectives were to enhance students knowledge and skills in creating teaching materials for schools, cultivate a spirit of volunteerism, public service, and community involvement, and promote ethical conduct and the qualities of a good teacher. Furthermore, it aimed to develop and strengthen the attributes of students to become graduates who meet the desired standards of higher education qualifications, leading to the development of professional teachers with a sense of social responsibility in the future.

An event to pay tribute to brave soldiers and to send encouragement to frontline troops who are performing their duty in protecting Thai territory.

On December 30, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, along with the faculty s administrators, lecturers, support staff, and students, organized an event to honor the brave soldiers and show support for frontline troops defending Thailand. The event took place at Building 68, Faculty of Education. Participants sang the Thai national anthem and observed a moment of silence to mourn the sacrifices made by the soldiers and to offer encouragement and support to those defending national sovereignty and security. The event proceeded peacefully, orderly, and with due respect, reflecting the unity and patriotic spirit of the Faculty of Education s personnel.

Ancestor worship ceremony and celebratory gathering to mark the New Year.

On December 25, 2025, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, held a New Year s ceremony and celebration to bring good fortune and boost morale among its personnel. Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, presided over the ceremony. The activities included paying respects to the Elephant Ancestor, the university s sacred deity, and to the spirits residing at Building 68 of the Faculty of Education, seeking blessings for the faculty, administrators, lecturers, and support staff. This was followed by a celebratory lunch, New Year s gift exchange, and a special prize draw. The atmosphere was warm, joyful, and reflected the unity of the Faculty of Education s personnel, as they prepare to enter the new year with renewed energy and determination.

Preparatory meeting for curriculum revision, academic year 2029.

On December 18, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over a preparatory meeting for curriculum revision for the academic year 2029. The meeting was held in Room 68-606, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, to establish guidelines and prepare for curriculum development that aligns with educational policies, quality standards, and future social and professional changes in the teaching profession. The Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Teacher Professional Development and the heads of the nine undergraduate program heads participated in the meeting to exchange ideas and determine the direction for curriculum revision to ensure it is modern and effectively meets the needs of students and society.

Meeting of the Faculty of Education Executive Committee, 8th/2025.

On December 18, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the 8th/2025 meeting of the Faculty of Education s Executive Committee. The meeting was held in Room 68-606, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, to discuss and consider important matters in the administration and operation of the Faculty of Education s mission. The Executive Committee, including the Vice Deans, Assistant Deans, Program Chairs, Heads of Offices, and Heads of Units, were present. The meeting proceeded smoothly and reached conclusions on several issues beneficial to the development of the Faculty in various aspects, including teaching, research, and academic services, ensuring the Faculty of Education operates efficiently and achieves its set goals.

Training workshop on “Enhancing Skills in Risk Management Planning and Internal Control Reporting, Fiscal Year 2026”

On December 15, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sopon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, along with program chairs, office heads, section heads, and personnel responsible for risk management and internal control, participated in a workshop on “Enhancing Skills in Preparing Risk Management Plans and Internal Control Reports for Fiscal Year 2026” at the Niwat Klinngam Meeting Room, 6th Floor, Faculty of Industrial Technology, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The workshop was organized by the Internal Audit Unit of Songkhla Rajabhat University and featured Assistant Professor Prasert Akraprathomphong, a lecturer from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Chulalongkorn University, as the guest speaker. He lectured on “Integrated Risk Management with Internal Control for Value Creation using AI Analysis,” followed by a workshop on preparing risk management plans and internal control reports.

Training Workshop on Developing Internal Quality Assessors Based on Excellence Quality Criteria for 38 Rajabhat Universities, Batch 2, 2025.

Assistant Professor Dr. Sopon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, participated in the workshop on "Developing Internal Quality Assessors Based on Excellence Criteria for Rajabhat Universities, Batch 2, 2025." This workshop, under the "Excellence Criteria for Rajabhat Universities (RU-QE)" training program, Course 2: "Quality Assessors: Excellence Criteria for Rajabhat Universities (RU-QE)," was held from December 12-14, 2025, at the Aswin Hotel, Bangkok. The aim was to enhance the capabilities of administrators and personnel in quality assurance, providing them with the knowledge, understanding, and skills to become internal quality assessors based on excellence criteria, and to strengthen the quality assurance efforts of the Rajabhat Universities to meet internationally recognized standards.

Integrated collaborative meeting for the implementation of the school quality development project, Teacher and Educational Personnel Development Center of the Institute for the Promotion of Science and Technology (IPST) in the province.

Associate Professor Dr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Teacher Professional Development, and Associate Professor Dr. Veerapan Charoenlikitkavin, Head of the Bachelor of Education Program in General Science, participated in a collaborative integration meeting for the project to develop the quality of teacher and educational personnel development centers of the Institute for the Promotion of Science and Technology (IPST) in the province. This project aims to establish model schools for science, mathematics, and technology learning. They also attended a meeting of faculty representatives from Rajabhat Universities participating in the SMT teacher competency development project, focusing on academic support and curriculum development at the local level. The meetings took place from December 11-13, 2025, at the TK Palace & Convention Hotel, Chaeng Wattana, Bangkok. Associate Professor Dr. Teeradet Chiarasukskul, Director of IPST, presided over the opening ceremony and emphasized the importance of collaboration between school administrators, faculty from Rajabhat Universities, and educational supervisors as key personnel in driving the tangible results of quality learning development in teacher and educational personnel development centers at the local level.

Workshop on "Developing and Instilling the Spirit of Teaching: Loyalty to Nation, Religion, and Monarchy"

On December 10, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the workshop on “Developing and Instilling the Spirit of Teaching to Instill Love for Nation, Religion, and Monarchy” at the Nirat Charoenchit Meeting Room (68-307), Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. The workshop featured lectures by Assistant Professor Dr. Penpak Napakul, Assistant Professor Dr. Kanokkorn Sirisuk, Assistant Professor Dr. Panatchakorn Phitthiyakul, and Assistant Professor Wimonwan Meeboon. The aim was to promote awareness of the teaching profession among education students, as well as to cultivate morality, ethics, and a sense of responsibility towards the nation, religion, and the monarchy.

On December 10, 2025, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the Post-Teaching Practice Seminar Project 3 for students with student ID number 66, at the meeting room on the 3rd floor of the Student Activities Center Building. Dr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Professional Practice, served as the guest speaker, sharing knowledge, experiences in teaching management, and approaches to professional development for teachers. Students from each discipline presented their teaching practice results, exchanged teaching experiences, discussed challenges and obstacles, and explored ways to improve, in preparation for becoming professional teachers in the future.
