On May 6, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar for administrators, mentor teachers, and coordinators from network schools participating in the teacher professional development program for student teachers. The seminar was held online via Zoom and targeted school administrators, mentor teachers, and coordinators from network schools involved in the student teacher professional development program. The objective of this seminar was to build knowledge and understanding of the teaching practice process in school level 4, as well as to exchange ideas on how to develop more effective teaching practices that align with the professional standards of the Teachers Council of Thailand. Dr. Chanaporn Uetrakul, Songkhla Provincial Education Officer, and Assistant Professor Dr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Teacher Professional Development, Faculty of Education, were invited as speakers to share their knowledge and experience for the development of future professional teachers.

On May 2, 2026, the Master of Education program in Curriculum and Instruction, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, organized an orientation and workshop on classroom teaching practice before students embark on their teaching practice in Specific Subject 1 for students with student ID numbers starting with 68. On April 30, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, chaired the 3rd/2026 Faculty of Education Executive Committee meeting online via Zoom. On April 29, 2026, the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, welcomed a study visit delegation from the National Sports University, Yala Campus. The delegation was led by Assistant Professor Nuchit Waree, Acting Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, National Sports University, Yala Campus. Assistant Professor Dr. Sophon Chaiwatnakulvanich, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University, extended a welcoming speech at the Pairoj Duangwiset Meeting Room, 68-302, Faculty of Education, Songkhla Rajabhat University. A video presentation was given, and discussions were held on developing faculty competencies according to the Thailand-PSF framework to enhance faculty quality and support learning outcomes aligned with the 2023 Higher Education Qualifications Framework. This was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Thapanawat Sukpala, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Teacher Professional Development. The delegation also visited the Institute for the Development of Special Education to study models of education for learners with special needs.
